Business Update 3/30/20:

First off the "Virus" and "Social Distancing." As everyone should be aware of the POTUS has now extended the dateline to the end of April. We will be open Regular Hours Mon-Fri 10-6 & Sat 9-1

With this being said I am extending services as needed, if you are sick or don't want to be around other people, you can poke your head in the door or call the shop at 662-7468 and let me know what you need. I will get the order together for you and you can wait in your vehicle or pop in get it and go.

Just remember I am here by myself so it could be slow, we will make it work.

Any classes we have been talking about for the month of April are postponed until we see what the situation is.

Ammunition is spotting, have most of it, just not large quantities. Resupply is going to be very slow, so count on that.

Now for my two cents worth: Be an adult, use your head, if you don't have a plan in place by now, make one. These are times I have never seen. Above all protect your LIBERTY, everyone is looking for a quick fix and safety. Do not give up your FREEDOMS for a promise of safety. Again use your head, read between the lines and hold your ground.

The purpose of fighting is to win, not “remain in existence” or “survive”… to prevail! Nothing else is acceptable! This course takes the handgun from a sporting, plinking or recreational implement to a tool of combat…to be ready and willing to fight if avoidance and evasion fail. The purpose of this course is to build solid essential skills (grip, trigger control, body position, holster skills, reloads, malfunction clearances, etc.) and put them in the fight! Students will be trained to anchor and improve these essential skills under set time frames established in six (6) standards that will be shot during the course combining speed and combat accuracy. This course is our doctrine, our “flag ship”, our foundation, how we at HC LLC think this should be done. Make no mistake, students will be pushed because when you face down a determined attacker, one must be resolute and confident their skills will work! That is what this course is about…these are the skills required to end the fight!!

Dave Spaulding owner of Handgun Combatives was awarded the 2010 Law Officer Trainer of the Year award at the “The International Law Enforcement Education and Training Association (ILEETA). He has 36 years of Law Enforcement & Federal Security experience. Dave was a founding member of his Agency’s SWAT Team, and he spent 12 years as its training officer. He himself is a graduate of multiple shooting schools, a leading authority on firearms training, author, writer and consultant, and former law officer.
